INtraGREEN operates globally and invests into diversified portfolios and into listed, as well as unlisted, early-stage greentech companies, that can benefit society. It is important to us that our portfolio companies create sustainable value, make a positive contribution
to the world, and lead the
way in terms of diversity.

Offering a Unique Green Opportunity

At INtraGREEN we are on a mission to fundamentally improve the world by investing and helping build-up new creative thinking companies. This will bind our commitment to create substantial value.

Increasingly, you will hear the term ESG being used and this is becoming the new generic term for these type of enterprises. Over and above more traditional ”green“ enterprises, the term ESG is now used to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance facets. This helps to emphasise the broader social implications of all of our business and social activities, and their affect on our surroundings.

INtraGREEN has chosen to become a Signatory for the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment. We also want to work in partnership with the United Nations‘ SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

ESG are a set of criteria used to measure an investments sustainability and societal impact

The implementation of ESG at the early stages can improve companies’ performance. Companies that implement ESG typically performs better than those who do not.

These companies performed better when considering accounting rates or return, ROE, and ROA. According to research conducted by Deutsche Bank which evaluated 56 academic studies, 89% of these studies showed that companies with high ESG factors outperformed the market in both medium (3-5 years) and long (5-10 years) term.

Out with the old, in with the new

The UN Principles for Responsible Investing (UNPRI)

We will use the UN PRIs ESG guidelines as the basis of our own ESG practices. As such, INtraGREEN has chosen, that we want to become a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and be guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG).

The UN PRI is the worlds leading proponent of responsible investing, and as a future signatory, INtraGREEN will follow the ESG principles as a guidelines for its investment decision-making process.

Under the guidance of these goals, we are committed to improving the ESG impact of our own investing, and to helping the portfolio companies incorporate ESG considerations into their operational decisions.

We believe ESG will become commonplace, even though its not broadly adopted as yet. Not only does responsible investing help both investors and their portfolio companies drive better performance, but it also will work towards creating a better world. For us, it‘s a no brainer.
